Hang That Artwork Right!
Do you have a problem when you are trying to find just the right position to hang a piece of art on your wall? Sometimes it can be confusing when you are trying to figure out if you have something position too high or too low. A nice rule of thumb to go by is making sure that the center of the piece is right about eye level for the average adult. Certainly, you will have to tweak this tip from time to time depending on the size of the painting itself as well as the height of your room of choice.
Another good thing to look for is the amount of lighting that you have in the area that you are thinking of decorating with wall art. The last thing you want is for your precious piece of art to get lost in a room without proper lighting. In this case, you can always use accent lighting to boost the look of the wall space!

Sizing Up Your Wall For Art
Getting the size right for your artworks isn't rocket science, but you should have a good idea how either a large impact piece or a collection of smaller artworks will look better in your room. There's an easy way to see what will look best and figure out how to get the best arrangement for your artworks. Just take plain sheets of paper and cut them to match the sizes of the artworks you're considering and then arrange them on your wall.
Use double-sided poster tape so you can stick and re-stick the papers on your walls without fear of pulling any of the paint off . Think creatively, arrange the papers in different shapes; diamonds, squares even a circle of art can look unique depending on other elements in your decor. Once you come up with a design scheme you're happy with, place your order for a colorful artwork to add some zing to your decor and start your art collection!

Walk with Divinity
Religious art can make a great gift to those you care about. It's a perfect way of saying you care and respect how they choose to live and practice their faith. Many people choose to surround themselves with the type of artwork that best express who and what they are when it comes to their spirituality. Some of the objects of expression include statues, paintings, candles, and in some cases-nothing at all. There are millions of people that find their very own unique expression of spirituality by being close to the wide-open spaces of nature.
Of course, if you decide to give a religious gift, the gift will depend on an individual's belief in God, and the religion they choose to practice. Junkyard Surprises
Bob Byerley captures the spirit perfectly in his Handsigned and Numbered Limited Edition Giclee: "The Junk Yard Band". Memories in the Earth
Charles Peterson's work is quite unique! "Wilderness Legacy" is a beautiful painting that celebrates the captivating North Country of America. Enjoying a peaceful moment of fishing, the main character is joined in spirit by those that have lived and walked the earth on this land before him. This style is indicative of his works, and is the central theme that speaks to our hearts in many of his works. You'll find yourself looking for the hidden images, and pondering the skill of how he works them so gracefully into a larger theme.
Charles Peterson is able to capture the spirit of the things we all love and hold dear: the outdoors, sea and landscape images, the town parade, taking piano lessons at grandmother's house, and the sound of sleigh bells in the winter to name a few. These are the kind of images that add wealth and beauty to any home décor.
And, the great thing about his style is there is a meaning in everyone of his painting that will find that special place in the heart of the observer. This defines great art-and great artists. If you're looking to start a collection of fine art, or if you're adding on to that which you already possess, the work of Charles Peterson should not be passed by. You'll find beauty, grace, and a spirit in his paintings that evokes memories of the things that make the journey through life worthwhile.

The Perfect Touch
If you love the cozy, country style there are many ideas that you may want to consider. A big and warm afghan thrown across the back of your couch is both stylish and useful. In addition, hardwood flooring is great for this type of style, just add several area rugs to compliment the furnishings. Window treatments can also add personality to your rooms theme. Some consider Gingham curtains a must for the country feel and they are a very traditional treatment, which accents your décor.
Sometimes the small touches can be over-looked and yet those small touches can affect the room in a big way. Paintings or prints are a great way to pull it all together. For example even if you are not old enough to actually remember the early 1900s, you have more than likely heard of Norman Rockwell and at one time or another you have probably seen some of his work. He truly enjoyed his era and this amazing artist portrayed old-fashioned Americana at its best. The perfect touch you have been looking for just may be created by adding his work to your home.

Decorating with Disney
When you are in the planning stages of redecorating it is often easy to overlook incidental items such as paintings or prints. The perfect addition of art can be the finishing touch that a room needs.
You should always keep in mind the theme you are trying to achieve and of course your likes and dislikes in art. If the room is something that will be used by everyone in the family then you will need to consider common grounds and your family lifestyle. If it is to be used by any one person in particular then it is perfectly fine to consider just their personal style.
If you are redecorating a child's room then something from the Walt Disney Animation Art collection would be the perfect choice. For a younger child consider a Disney Art classic print or prints. There are some great prints that feature Winnie the Pooh and friends.
What child, or most adults for that matter, could resist that loveable Pooh? Perhaps your child would like individual prints of all the characters such as Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore and of course Pooh. Or how about the whole gang under blue skies and playing near a stream. Perhaps all of them arranged on one wall would be something to consider.
There are many different prints available any one of which would be a source of fun and enjoyment for your child. Also, as a parent you will be pleased with the knowledge that there is nothing more wholesome than Walt Disney characters and their prints clearly follow this tradition.
